New book on urgent need for criminal justice reforms

By Justice Reform Initiative, 13 December 2021

For more than 40 years, Peter Norden AO FANZSOC has worked in a variety of roles within the Australian criminal justice system. These include his years as Catholic Chaplain to the Victorian Prison system including Pentridge Prison (1985 – 1992) and as Convenor of the Victorian Criminal Justice Coalition (1992 – 2008).

In his new book Seeking Justice in the Criminal Justice System in Australia - Learning from the Past and Planning for a Better Future, Peter draws on his rich experience to call for immediate and urgent evidence based reform.

We are deeply honoured that Peter, who is one of our Victorian patrons, has dedicated this significant publication to the work and vision of the Justice Reform Initiative.
