Reintegration Puzzle Conference

Conference Logo

The Reintegration Puzzle Conference brings together individuals and organisations working with people impacted by incarceration, with a particular focus on returning to the community after prison.

The conference has been brilliantly hosted for the last twenty years by Deakin University. Last year, Deakin invited the Justice Reform Initiative to establish a new home for the conference, and we are so excited to be presenting the conference from 2024. We are extremely fortunate that the convenor of the conference since its inception, Dr Jenny Crosbie, has joined our team to continue the management of this vital event. We also honour the extraordinary legacy of Professor Joe Graffam (also a JRI patron) who established the conference in 2004 and whose vision for collaboration, and for bringing together people with lived expertise of the justice system, practitioners and researchers has created such a remarkable, welcoming and unique event.

The 17th Reintegration Puzzle Conference presented by the Justice Reform Initiative will be held in 2024 in June in Sydney.

Further details on the 2024 conference are available here.
